Climate action, Sustainability, and Youth Development in Nigeria.

We are pleased to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Centre for Renewable Energy and Action on Climate Change CREACC-NG and the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development (OSSAP-GSD)

This strategic engagement marks an important step toward integrating grassroots sports mobilization with hashtag#climateaction, hashtag#sustainability, and hashtag#youth development in Nigeria.

The agreement follows a series of technical consultations and collaborative reviews through which both institutions refined a shared vision for partnership. The finalized MoU now provides a structured framework for joint initiatives aimed at leveraging hashtag#sports as a platform for environmental awareness, community resilience, and sustainable development.

As part of the next phase, both organizations will jointly develop a comprehensive implementation framework outlining priority programs, leadership coordination, and measurable impact objectives. The Office will also initiate formal engagement with the European Union to explore alignment with upcoming EU-supported initiatives, ensuring that proposed programs are positioned within current international development planning cycles.
