Who We Are

The Centre for Renewable Energy and Action on Climate Change (CREACC-NG) was established on the 15th of April, 2010 with registration number ZM/187/GUS/2010 and incorporated with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission with CAC-IT/NO 54245 on 06th July, 2012 as a non-profit organization under the Company and Allied MaOers Act (CAMA). The Center has United Nations Consultative Status and is also an observer at the Green Climate Fund.

CREACC-NG is advanced in PV design, installa<on and provides solar training and equipment maintenances as well as repairs; we have trained hundreds of renewable energy experts especially in the solar industry over the years. We have robust experience in sedng up solar systems; we have connections in the solar industry and knowledge of the market. The Center also aims to provide affordable solar home systems and enhance climate change awareness campaigns among Nigerians in order to reduce rural poverty.

The organization was also established to meet the basic need for water supply in remote areas of Nigeria using solar technology, and we also aim to reach those off-grid communities with clean energy through the deployment of solar energy. The purpose of this organization is to reach underserved, hard-to-reach, and isolated communities with clean energy for healthcare, provide access to quality education, and improve economic conditions for rural communities and their livelihoods.

Mission

We aim to facilitate and utilize the infinite, renewable and environmentally friendly energy resources for hundreds of hard to reach, isolated, and marginalized off-grid communities in Africa.

Vision

CREACC-NG envisions being among the leading NGOs in the fight against climate change through mitigation and adaptation in the world.

The purpose of this organization is to reach underserved, hard to reach, and isolated communities with clean energy for afforestation and reforestation, and improve economic conditions for girls. The organization was also established to meet the basic need of water supply in remote areas of Nigeria using solar technology, and also we aim to reach those off-grid communities with clean energy through the deployment of solar energy.

CREACC-NG has over 10 years experience in the renewable energy sector, it has 11 staff, 6 full time and 5 volunteers. The Centre has United Nations Consultative Status and it also has a convincing organizational capacity that compelled our staff to abide by the different donors’ requirements. CREACC-NG and other NGOs have jointly implemented rural renewable energy projects and oversee the various technical programs and projects over the years.
